Catholic Music Consulting
Research shows that 80% of Catholics believe music is a very important part of their experience of the Mass. Yet any pastor or music director knows that music is often a primary challenge in parish life. The Vigil Project accompanies pastors and music directors to help discern and solve important questions around Catholic music, like: How do you achieve excellence with a volunteer choir? How do you help a community move beyond a style that they are attached to and embrace the teachings of the Church on liturgical music? How do you create space in parish life for devotion?

Meaning of Music
An eight-episode film series and parish curriculum by The Vigil Project
Meaning of Music – The Vigil Project’s newest initiative launching in August 2024 – is an eight-part film series and curriculum exploring the gift of music the life of faith. Hosts Greg Boudreaux and Andrea Thomas journey around the world to interview scholars, musicians, scientists, theologians, and many others to discover where music comes from.
