Resources For
Catholic Musicians

Our mission is to create music for the Catholic journey and to support others who do the same.  We believe that serving the Church through song is not something reserved for an elite few, but rather a unique calling God has given to those with musical talents.  Here, you’ll find resources and opportunities developed specifically for you as a Catholic musician.

Formation Opportunities

Are you looking to grow in your spiritual life and your musical skill? From parish choirs to international touring artists, our team is dedicated to supporting musicians of all kinds who serve the Church in every setting.

CATHOLIC MUSICIAN RETREAT
OCTOBER 21-24, 2024

As Catholic musicians, it is all too rare that we take intentional time away from our day-to-day lives to receive again the gift of music. That’s why The Vigil Project annually brings musicians – volunteer and professional alike, of many varied backgrounds – together for a time of rest, creative renewal, and prayerful restoration. Over four days and three nights, you will experience powerful sessions that refresh your call to serve as a Catholic musician; receive formation in key topics like musicianship, liturgy, devotion, songwriting, and technology; and enter into an extensive time of prayer.

CATHOLIC MUSICIAN COMMUNITY

  • Pray with like-minded Catholic musicians

  • Discover the depths of Catholic prayer

Resources:

  • A library of training resources and courses on liturgy, devotion, tech skills, musicianship, and creative skills.

  • Dynamic livestream events where you can pray with other Catholic musicians, ask questions of experts, co-create, and more.

  • Access to The Vigil Project’s library of sheet music, reflections, and unique recommendations for public domain music.
